In his childhood, he quite often read books about investing and business and even started a small business selling various commodities. In 1950, he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and continued to develop his passion for investing.

In 1962, Buffett became a shareholder and managing partner of Berkshire Hathaway, a company that was originally a textile firm. Over the years, he changed the company’s strategy and turned it into an investment holding company. Under Buffett’s leadership, Berkshire Hathaway grew significantly and became one of the most valuable and successful companies in the world. Warren Buffett is known for his long-term investment strategy and his philosophy of value investing. He is known for buying stocks of companies that he believes are undervalued and have the potential to grow over the long term. In addition to being a successful investor, Warren Buffett is also a well-known philanthropist. Over the years, he has donated much of his wealth to charitable causes.
