I am extremely happy to tell you I was honoured with a special honorary diploma from the Best Young Manager of the Year competition, organized by the Evrika Foundation. This initiative is being held for 30 consecutive years and has proved its reputation in one of the most prestigious and valuable competitions in Bulgaria. Each year, the foundation gives the Evrika Award for excellence in science, for a young inventor, a young manager and a young farmer up to the age of 35.
I will not hide that I was surprised when I received an email a few months ago informing me that I was nominated for Young Manager of 2019. I was even more surprised to find out my nomination came from Ventsislav Savov, editor of Manager magazine, whom I did not know.
The fact that I was noticed by a distinguished person like him made me think that my work makes sense and is noticed not only by my loved ones.
After submitting my application, I was invited to the next stage – an interview with the jury. At that time, I had the opportunity and the pleasure to personally meet with Ventsislav and other distinguished names.
Of course, the awards ceremony was the most exciting part. It took place on January 29 in Sofia. The winner in the category “Young manager” was Darin Madjarov – founder of the online platform Ucha.se. He is an example to me and I am glad I had the opportunity to stand by him. I received the distinction for developing a successful business in the field of e-commerce and digital marketing, for a convincing market presence and purposeful pursuit of working business strategies.
It was a great honour to receive this recognition, given to me personally by Iliana Yotova – Vice President of Bulgaria.
Several other ambitious and hard-working young people, successful in various fields, received awards and honours. The evening was exciting, filled with positive emotions and pleasant conversations with interesting people.
Thank the Evrika Foundation for the opportunity. For their 30th anniversary, I wish them to continue creating such valuable initiatives.
Surely this distinction will remain a special memory of a success that has motivated me to do what I love. I must admit that all of this would not have been possible without the support of my partners, colleagues and family.
I write these lines, not to point out my accomplishments, but to give courage to all who are now starting or have already taken this path, to be consistent and not to give up. Because success is achieved with perseverance and with the right people on your side.
