Innowave 2017 Business & Startup Conference in Varna

Innowave 2017 Business & Startup Conference brings Facebook, Google, Amazon, Salesforce, Alibaba, Yandex and venture capital funds from three continents to Bulgaria's seaside capital

One of the biggest technology events in Europe, the Innowave 2017 Business & Startup Conference, is holding this year's edition in Bulgaria, and it is not to be missed. The forum runs over two days, 20 and 21 October, in Varna, which I visited just a few days ago. What is Innowave 2017 about? It brings together global brands such as Facebook, Google, Amazon, Salesforce, Alibaba, Yandex and venture capital funds from three continents, with one main goal: to help visitors digitally transform their businesses and sell globally. I believe you will find the forum not only interesting but also very useful.

The organisers expect more than 750 owners, managers and executives, business representatives and start-ups from 23 countries. The event will have four expo zones with more than 25 stands of Bulgarian and international technology companies, which every guest, not only me, will be able to meet in person.

The guest speakers will include more than 35 internationally recognised marketers, sales leaders and managers from leading European and international e-commerce companies, business angels and investment funds from three continents. I am very glad to say that some world-famous names in the field are coming to Bulgaria. The speakers include Drayton Bird, one of the most important figures in direct marketing and advertising of the last 25 years (UK); Dale Howarth, a digital and Facebook marketing expert (UK); Miguel Reynolds, President and CEO of Global Business Brokers; Bas Lansdorp, founder of the Mars One foundation and the first mission to Mars; Bozhidar Krapchev, Amazon Lead CEE at Amazon Web Services; and many others.

The event will be opened by the President of Bulgaria, the Minister of Economy, the Mayor of Varna and Mariya Gabriel, the European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society.
