Special award in the 2019 "Best Young Manager" competition

I am very happy to share that I received a special award in the "Best Young Manager" of the year competition, organised by the Evrika Foundation.

The initiative has been running for 30 years and has earned its reputation as one of the most prestigious and meaningful competitions in Bulgaria. Every year the foundation gives the Evrika awards for achievements in science and to a young inventor, a young manager and a young farmer under 35.
I will not hide that I was surprised when, a few months ago, I received an email saying I had been nominated for Young Manager of 2019. I was even more surprised to learn that the nomination came from Ventsislav Savov, editor of Manager magazine, whom I had never met.
The fact that someone of his standing had noticed me made me think that what I do makes sense and is seen not only by the people close to me. After I submitted my application, I was invited to the next stage, an interview with the jury. That is when I had the chance and the pleasure to meet Ventsislav and other well-known names in person.
Of course, the award ceremony was the most exciting part. It took place on 29 January in Sofia. The winner in the Young Manager category was Darin Madzharov, founder of the online learning platform Ucha.se. He is an example for me, and I was glad to stand next to him. I received a special award for building a successful business in e-commerce and digital marketing, for a strong market presence and for consistently following business strategies that work. It was a real honour to receive this recognition in person from Iliana Iotova, Vice President of Bulgaria.

Several other ambitious and determined young people who have succeeded in different fields also received awards. It was an exciting evening, full of positive emotions and good conversations with interesting people.
Thank you to the Evrika Foundation for the opportunity. On its 30th anniversary, I wish it many more meaningful initiatives. This award will stay with me as a special memory of a success that motivates me to keep doing what I love. I also have to say that it would not have been possible without the support of my partners, colleagues and family.
I am not writing this to show off, but to encourage everyone who is just starting out, or is already on this path, to stay consistent and not give up. Success comes from persistence and from having the right people on your side.
